The 2013 Joint Rail Conference was in Knoxville from April 15th to the 18th and Knoxville Locomotive Works and Knoxville Locomotive Corp. participated in full force.
Our booth was set up at the Knoxville Convention Center for the entire conference. We handed out brochures, 4GB jump drives in the shape of credit cards, a countless number of Andes Mints, and flyers for our impressive shop tour. Our shop tour featured our 2250 demonstrator locomotive and next to it was our 2-8-0 steam engine that was built in the year 1890. Everyone who visited seemed to enjoy themselves thoroughly.
We met many people at the Joint Rail Conference. From university students to pioneers of technology, it appears the railroad industry has a bright and exciting future. We would like to thank everyone who visited the shop and stopped by the KLC booth to check us out!
